BLM in Durham, NC

As I’m sure most of you know, many of the recent protests have included vandalism, especially on small businesses in cities. In order to get around these problems many cities, including my hometowns Raleigh and Durham, NC, put up boards on street-facing storefronts for local black artists to share their work. This essentially made freestyle graffiti legal and showcased the talent and voices of the people of Raleigh and Durham. While I didn’t have the pleasure of seeing the work in Raleigh, I spent time in Durham and would like to share my favorites with you. Some of these were taken by me, others I got off Instagram.
