Hi Everyone! My name is Shreya Aggarwal and I am currently a junior at BASIS Peoria High School. I have always loved writing, and Catalyst is the perfect platform for me to write about my passions. Outside of writing, I love to spend my weekends either reading, watching movies with my friends, or playing new songs on the piano :)

Hi everyone! My name is Renee, and I'm a Senior at New Trier High School. I’m so excited to be leading the Catalyst Project this year, as I've always loved public policy and social justice. Outside of school, I enjoy doing policy debate, conducting biomedical research, advocating for public health reforms, and spending time with family and friends. I hope to raise civic engagement amongst the youth and work with all of you to make this an awesome year!

Issaquah Chapter Head: Kate bevins

Hello everyone! My name is Kate Bevins, and I’m a senior at Issaquah High School. I’m a copy editor and social media manager for my school’s publication. When I’m not writing, I love staying active through Pilates, competitive cheerleading, and hiking. I see journalism as a powerful way to bring important issues to a broader audience, and I love how The Catalyst Project gives me, and students across the country, a platform to share their voices.
